Curling 101

In partnership with Curling Québec, again this year, Curling des Collines offers the “Curling 101 program”. The program is open to men and women interested in learning to curl in a relaxed atmosphere.

Program Description

Curling 101 is an 8 week turn-key program which allows people who have never curled, but who want to try it, to be introduced to the sport. With a two-hour class once a week, and the help of high-quality instructors, participants will progressively learn basic curling concepts, techniques and strategies.

This program refers to the Learn to Curl program created in partnership with Earle Morris, and then developed by Curling Canada and the Ottawa Valley Curling Association. The program has achieved remarkable success throughout Canada, and mainly targets the development of the recreational sector. Indeed, the program basically aims to introduce participants to curling within a fun, relaxed and safe environment, and thus create awareness and appreciation for the sport to a larger pool of enthusiasts.
