Project update

Our message

For over a year now, Curling des Collines has been working very hard to raise the funds needed to start the construction of a curling center in the charming municipality of Chelsea.

Close to our goal

Our club still needs to raise $13,000 on this 3.56 million dollar project. We are very close to our goal, but we need your help!

Focus on generations to come

Curling is a unique sport in the sense that people of all ages can form a team. The club’s top priority for this ancestral sport (dating back to the 18th century) is focused on generations to come. Major efforts will go towards working with various academic institutions in the Outaouais to offer “learn to curl” courses to children 7 years or older. Curling des Collines is currently offering accessibility, social interaction and guidance to all its members and new recruits. The only thing missing now is a place where we can offer the population a multi-generational sport. Curling des Collines will be the only 4 sheet curling center in the Outaouais.

Ground-breaking on Friday October 6!

Needless to say, like all curlers who have their own center, we would also like a place of our own where we can enjoy this amazing sport in our region.

Curling des Collines is proud to announce that the official ground-breaking for this new Curling Centre in Chelsea, (104 Old Chelsea Rd) was held on October 6, 2017, at 9:30 am. The land property on which it will be built is located in front of the fire station, which is accessed by chemin de l'Hôtel de Ville.
