Dear Members,

Considering that as of January 12, Curling Québec (CQ) and the Public Health have not sent any new
instructions and that we must continue to comply with the existing curfew, the Board of Directors (BOD)
has decided that the Center will remain closed until further notice.
Furthermore, due to the high risk of contagion relating to the Covid-19 Omicron variant, the BOD has
also decided not to authorize practice time in the Center, and this also until further notice.
These special measures are part of the most recent decisions taken by CQ and the provincial health
authorities and are primarily intended to protect members of any risk of contagion relating to Covid-19.
The BOD will keep members up to date on all new developments in this matter.ities is safe.

Curling des Collines' Health Policy Within the Contexte of Pandemic

Curling des Collines' health policy and its application essentially reflect Curling Quebec's General Return to Play Guidelines, other than with respect to children under twelve (12) years of age, who must also be doubly vaccinated to enter the Center. »

The general return to play guidelines stipulated by Curling Quebec:

1.         On your first visit to the center, you will be asked to present your COVID-19 Vaccination Passport as well as a photo ID, and to sign the COVID-19 Declaration Form as well as the Release of Liability, Waiver of Claims, and Indemnity Agreement.

2.         On the ice, regular play will resume (two sweepers) with distancing, without masks; and we will be able to accept 32 players at a time.

3.         To prevent people from gathering, teams will be alternately placed at the beginning of the game. Thus, sheets A and C will begin on the side of the scoreboards and sheets B and D will start on the lounge side. The ice technician will set this up before the game. 

4.         You must, however, wear a mask for any other travel through the center.

5.         In the lounge, public health rules required for restaurants and bars will apply, i.e., eight people per table.

6.         Furthermore, the center will not be lending any equipment.
