NEW FEE STRUCTURE

2025-2026 Season

New Fee Structure: We are implementing a new fee structure to better serve you and further promote fairness. The basic principle is simple, and your registration will be divided in three parts:

• Fixed non-refundable membership fee of $170,
• fixed Curling Québec fee and
• variable costs according to the number of leagues you choose.

The membership fee for a week league will be $200 (including all Monday to Thursday leagues as well as Friday 9 a.m., 11:15 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. leagues. The membership fee for weekend leagues will be $175 (including Friday 6:15 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. leagues, as well as all Saturday and Sunday leagues).

To encourage our next generation of curlers, we have also reduced the fees for players under 21.

Please note that the maximum fee a member will pay will be $940, irrespective of the number of leagues.

Please note that the new fee structure with mandatory payment online will help reduce volunteers’ workload related to registrations and payments.

ADULT FEES

Fixed Fee – Membership Fee: Fixed membership fees are $170 (including taxes). The fixed membership fee is mandatory and non-refundable once the leagues are underway. Privileges associated with the membership fee are as follows:

• Spare privilege for 10 games.
• Practice privilege depending on availability on the weekly calendar.
• Right to participate as a member in Club activities.
• Right to vote at general meetings.
• Privilege to participate in 50/50 draw.
• Rebate on ice or lounge rentals.
• Retention of locker if already a lessee.
• Right to represent Curling des Collines in external competitions.

P.S. A person may, if so desired, become a spare by ONLY paying the $170 fixed membership fee.

Fixed Fee – Curling Québec Affiliation: The Curling Québec $30.50 affiliation fee is mandatory and non-refundable once the leagues are underway for any regular player participating in at least one league. This fee entitles you to all the CQ advantages and services as well as the right to participate in all tournaments supported by CQ.

N.B. Fixed fees are cumulative. See Membership Sample at the end of this document.

Variable Costs - Leagues: These costs are variable and directly associated to the number of leagues you choose. The possible options are:

• Weekday leagues $200 (including taxes) per league. The weekday leagues are all Monday to Thursday leagues as well as Friday 9 a.m., 11:15 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. leagues.
• Weekend leagues $175 (including taxes) per league. Weekend leagues are the 6:15 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Friday leagues as well as all Saturday and Sunday leagues.
• Mixed Doubles and Sturling leagues $100 (including taxes). These leagues are one-hour games.
• Fifth player membership $55 (including taxes). This category allows you to join a team, and to play unlimited games with this team. To become a fifth player, you must be registered in at least one league and have paid the appropriate fees related to this league.

YOUTH FEES (UNDER 21 AT JULY 1^ST)

Fixed Membership Fee: Fixed membership fee is $50 (including taxes). Fixed membership fee is mandatory and non-refundable once the leagues are underway. Privileges associated to the membership fee are as follows:

• Spare privilege for 10 games.
• Practice privilege depending on availability on the weekly calendar.
• Right to participate as a member in Club activities.
• Right to vote at general meetings (18 years and over).
• Rebate on ice or lounge rentals.
• Retention of locker if already a lessee.
• Right to represent Curling des Collines in external competitions.
• Privilege to participate in 50/50 draw (18 years and over).

Fixed Fee – Curling Québec Affiliation: The Curling Québec $18.66 affiliation fee is mandatory and non-refundable once the leagues are underway for any regular player participating in at least one league. This fee entitles you to all the CQ advantages and services as well as the right to participate in all tournaments supported by CQ.

Variable Costs - Leagues: These costs are variable and directly associated to the number of leagues you choose. Possible options are:

• Weekday leagues $75 (including taxes) per league. The weekday leagues are all Monday to Thursday leagues as well as Friday 9 a.m., 11:15 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. leagues.
• Weekend leagues $60 (including taxes) per league. Weekend leagues are the 6:15 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. Friday leagues as well as all Saturday and Sunday leagues.

MEMBERSBIP SAMPLE: The following example refers to a membership of two, two hour-leagues (Adult fee structure, weekday league):

$170 + $30.50 + $200 + $200 = $600.50 for the 2025-2026 season. Please note that your 2024-2025 membership would have cost $630, therefore a price drop for the 2025-2026 season.
