CRIBBAGE SERIES (4 NOVEMBRE)

SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES (6):  OCTOBER 7, 2023; NOVEMBER 4, 2023; DECEMBER 2, 2023; JANUARY 6, 2024; FEBRUARY 3, 2024; and MARCH 9, 2024. All activities run from 1 p.m. to approximately 4 p.m.

GRAND FINAL: SUNDAY, MARCH 24, 2024, AT 9 A.M.

FORMAT: Teams of two (2) players. However, points will be awarded individually to both players of the team. The first game begins at 1 p.m. and no new game will begin after 4 p.m. It is not mandatory to be present at all activities.

COST: $20 per player for the season

REGISTRATION: Online or on site, and as a team or individually. The number of players is unlimited during the season. However, a maximum of 32 teams per activity may participate. CASH PRIZES: Based on the number of participants and awarded at the end of season Grand Final.

 

Rules

1. Each team is made up of two (2) players, the captain and his or her partner. You may form your team ahead of time or on site the day of the activity.   

2. Each team plays a maximum of eight (8) games per day. The committee reserves the right to modify the number of games if the 4 p.m. specified time is exceeded.

3. After each game, the ranking of the day is used to determine teams for the next game. 1 vs 32, 2 vs 31 etc.

4. A spare is allowed in case one of the team’s players is absent.

5. Stealing of points is not allowed during games.

6. The game is played by teams of two (2). However, in the overall ranking, points will be awarded individually to both members of the team. For example, “Bruno” and “Christian” play together and win a game. Each will be awarded 121 points in their own name in the overall ranking. This rule allows a player to play with a new partner at each activity.

7. At each activity, your smallest score will not count towards the activity’s total score.

8. To participate in the Grand Final, you must have paid the $20 fee for the season AND have participated in at least one (1) activity during the season (Series). Only 64 players will be accepted for the Grand Final. The priority will be given to players meeting the conditions hereafter in the following order:

a. Participated in all six (6) activities.

b. The 32 best players in the overall ranking.

c. Participated in at least three (3) activities.

d. Participated in at least two (2) activities.

e. Participated in at least one (1) activity and paid the $20 fee.
